Most of you know I’m an avid Gamer. I play hard, I tend to kick ass, but I like to have fun. I mean that’s what gaming is all about, having a good time. Now I generally try to find ways to push the gaming experience to the limit of fun.
I my friends am a Griefer
Wikipedia defines this as :A griefer is a player who plays a game simply to aggravate and harass other players.
I don’t intend on Harrassing or Aggravating.
I do however follow these rules of Griefing.
- The use or abuse of a game mechanic that was not intended by the game’s developers.
- The inability of the victim to exact some means of retribution beyond utilizing similar unintended game mechanics.
- The intended purpose of an act of griefing must be to negatively impact the game play of another person.
An act of griefing usually meets all these criteria as well as any game specific criteria set by the developers of the game.
I will play a game to find problems or loopholes and exploit them at all costs. I will go out of my way to make something hilarious or have a meaning of complete awesome.
I recently downloaded the SPORE Creature Creator from Electronic Arts. It’s a nice getaway from Second Life, which will lead to another post.

Basically, you create monsters/creatures. Which in September the game SPORE will be released and you can take these creations and put them to use in your game. I found this pretty sweet, and decided to pay my 10 bucks for the full game. An awesome deal might I add.
So I began creating. I created your standard 4 armed creature with 12 eyes, claws, some legs and whatnot.
I wasn’t impressed. I knew I could do better. So then I made a creature that looked like a Palm Tree. I got a good laugh at the pitiful thing.
This is where I decided, if I can make a palm tree creature, I can surely exploit this and make something more “grief” worthy. I’m an adult, we’re ALL adults here and adult oriented things in video games make me laugh, because it’s a fictional realm. Thus, the first Phallic Shaped Creature that looked like a males Penis was created.

His name is SHAFT. He likes holes, hands, and various forms of jelly.
The game also lets you take video of your “monster”. It asked me if I wanted to youtube it, which I declined, knowing their T.O.S. So I uploaded it on a random site which really has no rules or regulations.
Now, I could have done more detail, but I didn’t have the full version…until today. I’m also not a person who goes out purposely to annoy players with stupid 4chann things, because thats only funny to 12 year olds. This guy really wasn’t suppose to go on the EA.com new creature page, but I accidently hit the publish button, cause I was still learning the program. I deleted him, but the damage was done. Whoops. So this morning at around 5am my phone gave the “Hey Kid, I’m a Computer Message tone”, I crawled over to check my newly delivered message Which leads to this lovely email I got from EA.

Well, poot. EA really doesn’t like anything that has an artistic male genital form. Proves none of those guys are queers. Guess I’ll have to wait til next week, and not make any sexual creatures.
I guess the question is when is someone going to create a game, where griefing is accepted cause I’ll buy 10 copies of it.

make two monsters:
1) a swastika with two huge boobs and labia big enough to swallow jessie jackson
2) A Jessie Jackson…with a monster cock…
and of course they’ll have to fuck…EA can’t kick you then, because if they do it says they are against inter-racial coupling. which would be kinda nazi
